Flying High (?)

If you are a Software engineer, you would have, by now, asked by innumerable number of aunties and uncles as to when you will be flying abroad. And if you say "I have no idea", then it is as good as shooting yourself in the foot. I wonder why people make such a big fuss out of it. It's not like you have to go abroad to earn a reputation as a good Software Engineer. But i guess, it's a little difficult to make Computer-Illiterate people realise that.
