I had the good fortune of visiting Kodachadri during the month of April. It is when Mangalore is at its hottest, but as you climb up the peak, you realise that weather at sea level matters zilch as it keeps getting colder with every meter you ascend. Moreso if ascension is at night. Me and four of my other friends trekked 13 kms to the top of the peak from 8:00 pm to 12:30 am, and boy was it tiring. But the view that we got in the morning (it was too dark to see at night dummy) made all the efforts worth it. Take alook at the pics and tell me honestly they do not take your breath away.
